Botanical Description

from a loosely branched caudex. Leaves in tufts, oval to ovate, white woolly beneath, more or less glabrous above, 7-16mm long with petioles the same length. Flowering stems slender, up to 20cm tall, sometimes more. Flowers in loose to dense umbels, yellow, often tinged red. California to Oregon on dry gravelly slopes at 1050-3300m.
