Flowering stems 30-60cm in height. Leaves 20-50cm long, scabrous, up to 2cm wide at the base. Flowers yellowish-white, about 8mm wide, the tepals with green glands, in well branched racemes (panicles). Washington State, to Montana south to California, in dry habitats, mainly sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata), at1200-2120m.
