Botanical Description

Leaves elliptic, oblong or obovate, rounded at the tips and finely toothed, 2-8cm long. Flowering stems to 30cm tall with three to twenty flowered racemes, the flowers open bell-shaped, creamy or milky white, occasionally pink tinged, 1.2-1.6cm wide. North-eastern North America, in dry or moist woodland.
