Botanical Description

Stems 20-70cm tall. Leaves essentially glabrous, sharply serrate, mostly 3-8cm long. Flowers deep blue to dark purple, 1.7-2.5cm long. In a variety of moist to wet habitats from near sea level to 2090m in the mountains. Cascade Range to the coast, from British Columbia to Oregon. Readily grown in sun or shade in most soils. Good.
