Botanical Description

Stems 15-3 0cm tall. Leaves glabrous and glaucous, entire, fleshy, 3.5-7cm long, often with wavy edges. Flowers mostly in a continuous thyrse, 1.5-2cm long, pale blue lavender to lavender or pink. Dry, sandy or sandy-loam soil in sagebrush communities and common along roadsides in valleys and foothills at 1500-2000m in Utah and Nevada.
