Leptosiphon bicolor, Gilia tenella). Erect or ascending, the main stem with or without a few basal branches, 7-15cm high. Leaves sparse, 3-10mm long, cleft into three to seven linear, hispid lobes. Flowers in leafy bracted heads up to 6mm across by 1.5-3cm long, red to pink or white. California to Washington State, in grassland and open woodland, mainly below 1600m.
