Botanical Description

Acomastylis rossii). Clump-forming, to 20cm or more tall. Leaves ferny, evenly pinnate, the many leaflets deeply cleft. Flowers 4cm across, solitary, yellow. Asia to Alaska south to Arizona and New Mexico, on mountain ridges and screes. A distinctive species with its attractive ferny foliage.
