Botanical Description

A more or less bushy annual with a repeatedly forking mode of growth to about 15cm in height. Leaves obovate to ovate, toothed, sometimes harshly hairy. Flowers 3-5mm long, tubular, whitish to pale blue. Southern Europe, on limestone rocks and walls. Not a choice plant, but the blue-flowered form has potential on dry walls and to fill in temporary blank crevices on the rock garden.
