Height 10cm Basal leaf 20cm long, 15-20mm wide. Stem erect, with a solitary stem leaf without bulbils. Flowers two, pale purple, erect. Petals fringed with abundant long yellow hairs around the glands which are transverse, naked, depressed, with a broad membrane below anda fringe of hairs above. This is a very localised species from northern California.
