Botanical Description

Height 20-40cm. Stem erect, unbranched, often with bulbils. Flowers one to three, erect, purple with a medium green stripe and sometimes with a transverse band of purple above each gland, bearded above the gland which is slightly depressed, triangular, densely hairy. South British Columbia to north-eastern California east of the Cascades on dry hillsides.
