Botanical Description

Wats Niddi. Height 10-30cm. Basal leaf 20-30cm long, 5-10mm wide, stem leaf solitary, narrower, often with a bulbil. Flowers erect, campanulate, lavender with a deep reddish spot above the glands and a few long hairs. Each gland oblong, slightly depressed, with a broad fringed membrane below and short hairs above. South-eastern Washington to North California, uncommon in grassy meadows.
