Botanical Description

Height 30-60cm with sprays of small flowers. Basal leaves stickily glandular bior usually triternate, leaflets 0.5-3.5cm Flowers erect, 1.5-3cm wide and 2-4cm long, spurs 1.5-2.5cm The colour of the sepals is very variable, usually white or yellowish but sometimes pale blue or pink, the petals generally white. Rocky Mountains, Utah and Colorado in shady sandstone rock crevices.
