Botanical Description

Bulbs strongly obliquely ovoid, more or less horizontal in the soil. Stems 5-8cm high with two wing-like crenate toothed ridges. Leaves narrowly falcate, up to 10cm long, with toothed recurved margins. Flowers more or less funnel-shaped, 6-12mm long, pink, in hemispherical umbels, summer. Oregon to British Columbia, in the mountains on gravelly soils. (Pl.5)
