Rhizomes shortly creeping or erect. Leaves palmate, 4-5cm long by 5-6cm wide, deeply five-lobed, coarsely toothed, on stalks 10-15cm long. Flowering stems 15-23cm tall with large leafy bracts. Flowers three to seven, 1-1.5cm across, yellow, late spring to early summer. Eastern central Europe, in mountain woods. Probably not in cultivation.
