Botanical Description

high and wide. Leaves subcordate, about 1.5cm long, somewhat fleshy, crowded and forming mounds. Flowers 3-5cm across, yellow or deep violet, summer. Sicily and North Africa, in vertical limestone crevices. Worth seeking out, though possibly needing an alpine house.
