One dwarf subshrubby perennial from Argentina. It is botanically allied to Sisymbrium and Descurania, but resembles a small Menonvillea q.v. Distinctive features are downy-based stamens and seed pods with long persistent styles.
Probably best in a sunny raised scree bed with protection from too much rainfall, or in a deep pot in the alpine house. Root disturbance could well be fatal. A rooting medium high in minerals but low in humus is recommended. Propagation by seed sown as soon as obtained, perhaps also rosette cuttings in late summer.
