Botanical Description

Loosely mat-forming, with long prostrate woody stems and more or less erect flowering laterals to 12cm high. Leaves oblong, 8-12mm long, ciliate at the base otherwise glabrous. Floral bracts prominent, pale green, ciliate, exceeding floral whorls. Flowers white, 6-8mm long in head-like, or somewhat elongated spikes. Central and eastern Spain.
