Botanical Description

Stems slender, 10-20cm long, several from a woody rootstock. Leaves l-2cm long, narrowly oblong to obovate divided into three linear segments. Flowerheads 3-6mm across, lemon yellow, in small compact corymbs, late summer. Oregon, Nevada, California, at montane to alpine levels in bristle-cone pine forest and fellfields in dryish rocky ground.
