Tufted perennial from a woody base, the white tomentose stems 10-20cm long, procumbent to ascending. Leaves 1- 2.5cm long, broadly ovate to semi-orbicular, shortly white woolly. Flowers 1.2-1.4cm long, yellow, in short fairly crowded spikes, summer. Greece, on mountain cliffs and screes. [Pl.478]
