Botanical Description

Up to 20cm or more in height, the erect stems leafy. Basal leaves up to 7cm in length, those on the stems much smaller, almost sessile, pinnatifid, densely whitish-hairy. Flowers to 5mm across, pinkish or white, summer. Washington State to northern California, in alpine fellfields and dry volcanic slopes around 3000m.
