Tufted to small clump-forming, 15-20cm tall. Leaves basal, ovate to rounded, toothed, up to 8cm long, more or less cobwebby-hairy. Flowerheads solitary, yellow, 2.5-4cm across, late summer to early autumn. U.S.A., Washington State, on high rocky slopes in the Olympic mountains.
