Botanical Description

Rosettes rounded, semi-open, 2-4cm across with many offsets on slender stems. Leaves bright green, oblong-lanceolate, erect, 1-1.5cm long with a brownish point at the tip and sparsely hairy, becoming reddish at the edges with age. Leafy flowering stems 10cm high carry twelve to twenty flowers, each 2cm across with ten to twelve petals 9-10mm long, pink with a central stripe which changes from reddish-brown at the tip to green at the base. Eastern Alps on limestone rocks.
