Botanical Description

Forms hard, dense hummocks of very prickly rosettes. Leaves 6-10mm long, straight and very sharply pointed. Flowering stems 3-8cm tall bearing compact cymes of three to eight white flowers, petals 7-10mm long. Northern Italy at alpine and subalpine levels, in limestone.
