Botanical Description

Forms a lax mat of leafy stems. Leaves dark green, wedge-shaped, tridentate at the tips, 8-15mm long. Flowering stems 5-15cm high bearing one to three creamy white flowers, petals 4-6mm long, yellow in their lower halves and spotted with purple in their upper halves. Northern Canada, Alaska and Greenland. In cultivation requires cool, moist, semi-shady conditions.
