Leaves all basal, reniform, coarsely toothed and with long petioles. Flowering stems 20-40cm tall bearing lax panicles of many small flowers, petals 3mm long, white or pale pink. North-eastern Russia and north-western North America. Doubtfully in cultivation. Formerly considered a variety of S. punctata.
