Botanical Description

N o basal rosettes, stem leaves oblanceolate to linear, 8-15mm usually with brown hairs at the base. One or more flowering stems 5-10cm high bearing usually solitary yellow flowers with petals 5-10mm long. Pakistan to Nepal and Tibet on damp stony slopes from 4300 to 5000m. Not in cultivation as yet. Probably difficult and not rewarding in its display.
