Leaves with only a short petiole, broadly elliptical, 2.5-6cm long by 1.5-5cm in width, finely toothed. Flowering stems 5-20cm high with whitish to pale pink flowers 5-7mm across. Native to the temperate Northern Hemisphere in woods and moorlands, usually on acid soils.
