Allied to P. obconica, but smaller, more delicate and originating from the central Himalaya. Leaves spoon-shaped, the blade orbicular to ovate or cordate, 2.5-4cm long, toothed, its stalk equalling the leaf in length. Flowers pale pink, broadly bell-shaped, in umbels of six to eight on stems l-3cm high. Warm-temperate forests, 2000-2700, east Nepal to Arunachal Pradesh. Short-lived and not hardy.
