Botanical Description

Similar to P.advena but leaves obovate to oblong, toothed, glaucous beneath, to 30cm long, with a broadly winged petiole. Flowers pale yellow, 2cm across in three to four whorls each of four to eight flowers on stems to 60cm high. Very sweetly scented. China; north-west Yunnan, mostly around Zhongdian, bushy copses, 3000-3500 m.
