the erect'stems 30-90cm tall. Leaves pinnate, composed of seven to eleven ovate, sharply toothed glandular-hairy leaflets. Flowers about 2cm across, white or cream, in corymbose clusters, mid to late summer. North America from southern Canada south to western Virginia and Colorado. Rather too coarse and tall for the rock garden.
