Stems 30-40cm high, grooved and purple-spotted. Leaves alternate oblong-oval, acute, 5-10cm long, boldly veined and glaucous beneath. Flowers in clusters of two to four, shortly stalked, 2cm long, cream to yellow, tipped green. Sikkim Himalaya to about 2000-2600m.
