hairy perennial with flowering stems 15-40cm tall. Basal leaves narrowly lanceolate to oblong, 2-7cm long by up to 1cm wide, entire or the largest with one or two pairs of small leaflets at the base, on stalks about as long as the blades. Stem-leaves few, small, entire. Flowers numerous, in dense terminal cymes 2-8cm long, white, 5-7mm long and wide, stamens protruding, summer. South-western Oregon and northern California, at the tree-line. Probably not in cultivation.
