Botanical Description

Douglas ex Lindl. [3] Stems 10-40cm tall. Leaves strongly and sharply serrate, but sometimes entire. Up to 10cm long. Narrowly or broadly elliptic or lance-ovate. Flowers deep blue or lavender, 1.2cm long. Open, mostly rocky places, from the valleys and plains to moderate elevations in the mountains in Washington and British Columbia.
