Botanical Description

Stems 10-25cm tall. Leaves entire, fleshy, 2-6cm long, oblanceolate to broadly ovate, mucronate, many basal, reduced upwards. Flowers 1.3-1.7cm long, blue-violet. Dry juniper and pinyon-juniper woodlands at 1700-2100m. Utah, Colorado and Wyoming. Little known in cultivation.
