Botanical Description

Stems 10-30cm tall. Leaves linear, glaucous. Flowers 8-12mm long, campanulate, creamy white streaked with pink dots within. Among rocks and scree in canyons of southern Arizona. Forms a twiggy evergreen shrub with a central trunk producing spires of bloom through the entire growing season. Surprisingly easily grown in rock gardens.
