Stems 8-18cm tall. Leaves entire, fleshy, mostly cauline, 2.5-5cm long. Flowers 1.2-1.4cm long, blue to blue-purple or even pink. Dry, sandy hills, plains, and white shale bluffs in sagebrush communities at 1800-2200m in Wyoming and Utah.
