Douglas ex Hook. Stems 30-50cm tall, finely pubescent above. Basal leaves lacking, those on the stem 3-7cm long, lanceolate, toothed only. Flowers about 1.2cm long, pink or white, the upper lip with a narrow hooked beak, in open spikes, mid to late summer. British Columbia to California and the Rocky Mountains, on dry slopes and in conifer forest at 1300-2300m.
