Tufted to clump-forming With. more or less erect stems to 20cm or more long. Leaves only cauline, 1.5-3cm long, suborbicular to rhombic or broadly ovate to oblong-lanceolate, usually with shallow, almost lobe-like teeth, and hirsute to pubescent. Flowers 1-1.3cm long, violet-blue to lilac-blue, occasionally pink, in racemes 2-4cm long, mid to late summer. Southern and eastern Alps, in limestone rock crevices at 2500m.
