Almost stemless rosette-forming perennial to about 10cm tall. Leaves lanceolate to narrowly ovate, varying from entire to toothed or lobed, to 10cm or more in length. Flowers yellow, 1.5-2cm wide, early to late summer. California to Washington State and the Rocky Mountains, in moistish grassy places at 2000-3000m.
