tall with slender, branched stems. Leaves oblong-ovate, wavy toothed, 1.2-2.5cm in length. Flowers to 1.6cm across, rose-pink to red-purple, summer. Southern U.S.A. to South America. Sometimes in alpine seed lists but too tall for the size of flowers and a bit weedy.
