Botanical Description

Leaves two to four, green, erect, keeled. Stem compressed, striate, 60cm tall. Pedicels 30mm long. Flowers two to ten, ascending, 5.5cm in diameter, tube pale green, 2cm long, tepals pale straw yellow, patent but incurved, not imbricate, corona medium yellow, cup-shaped, six-lobed or crenate, 5mm high by 10mm in diameter. Anthers three in tube, three in corona overtopped by style, spring. Southern France, Italy, Elba, Capri, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily.
