Botanical Description

Leaves two to three, up to 16cm long by 3mm wide, two-keeled, glaucous, erect. Stem round, striate, 12cm tall. Pedicel 5mm long, tube 2.7cm long. Flowers solitary, ascending, creamy white, 3.5cm diameter, tepals patent or slightly reflexed, often twisted, rarely imbricate, corona cup-shaped, slightly crenate, 6mm high by 1.1cm in diameter. Anthers three in tube, three in corona. Style included in corona, spring. Western High Atlas, Morocco. (Flowers have never been seen in the wild).
