Botanical Description

Loosely cushion-forming, the leaf tufts joined to slender stolons. Leaves l-3cm long, slender and low arching, greyish-green, the margins hairy. Cymes congested, almost stemless. Flowers about 2mm long, white, each tepal with a brown central stripe, spring to summer. New Zealand, in a few scattered localities in South Island in sandy ground.
