Botanical Description

Tufted from short rhizomes, forming mats or dense colonies about 2-5cm or sometimes more in height. Basal leaves shorter, fairly stiff, channelled at the tips and often bearing sparse, long white hairs. Cymes congested, the 2.5mm long flowers darkest brown, spring to summer. Australia: New South Wales, endemic to the alpine region of Mount Kosciusko in moist to wet places.
