Botanical Description

Usually less than 30cm high. Basal leaves rounded, ranging from simple to five-lobed, sometimes having a pinnatifid appearance. Flowers pink, occasionally white, about 1cm across, spring to summer. Oregon and Washington to Montana, Wyoming and Idaho, mainly in the Rocky Mountains south to Arizona, in sagebrush and pine forest.
