Tufted habit when happily situated, forming loose hummocks eventually to about 30cm wide, with flowering stems 10-15cm in height. Leaves up to 4cm long, obovate to oblong, silky white hairy beneath, sparingly bristly hairy above. Flowers 8-12mm long, pale pink aging to blue, summer. Eastern Pyrenees in one small area near Figueras, amongst rocks.
