perennial or annual with branched ascending stems 10-25cm in length. Leaves oblanceolate to narrowly oblong, 7-20mm long, mainly in whorls of four. Flowers 1.5-2.7cm long, violet; spurs 1-1.3cm in length. North-western Spain, in calcareous rocks and screes.
