Botanical Description

in height. Umbel with five to twelve flowers on pedicels 1.5-3.5cm long, white, with a purple vein in the centre of each segment, sometimes shaded purple on the outside, 4.5-6cm in diameter, lobes lanceolate, long-tapering to an acute apex, staminodes three, very slender, white. Especially in Valparaiso and Santiago provinces, in scrub at low altitudes.
