Botanical Description

eventually to 1m across. Leaves more or less evergreen except in severe winters. Leaves ovate, entire or slightly toothed, long-stalked, 20cm or more long, arising directly from the underground creeping stems. Flowers usually singly from leaf axils, to 7cm or more long, composed of a long green tube and five to six pointed white lobes, summer. Argentina. Tolerant of wet winters and generally hardy out of doors, but can be invasive.
