1 A. In overall appearance, akin to I. reichenbachii and lutescens. From 8-15cm tall in bloom. Leaves somewhat falcate, 4-10mm wide. Flowers one or two, 4.5-5.5cm across, ranging from yellow to purple and bicoloured; usuahy yellow but sometimes bluish-bearded, spring. Bulgaria to Turkey, on open rocky hillsides and amongst light scrub.
